CATIE THORNE (SHE/HER)

CO-FOUNDER AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Catie Thorne is a is a Queer, Toronto-based director, performer, writer, and producer who explores the intersection of tradition, innovation, and humanity in her artistic practice. Catie is the artistic director of Sheep’s Clothing Theatre. Catie has collaborated with Canadian Stage, Netflix, Single Thread Theatre Company, SummerWorks and Chimerik 似不像. She is the co-creator, producer and director of Blood Brothers, an immersive retelling of Julius Caesar set in a frat house that had a sold out run in August 2025. Catie is also the director of ‘The Virgin, Mary’ and ‘The Astros’. Her play ‘Pony Girls’ was selected and staged at Hamilton Fringe on the Streets. 

Brianna Russell (sHE/HER)

CO-FOUNDER AND ARTISTIC PRODUCER

Brianna Russell is a is a Queer playwright and filmmaker  from Clarke’s Beach, NL. Brianna’s plays ‘Icarus Is Falling’ and ‘The Virgin, Mary’ have received development workshops/readings through PARC/Shakespeare by the Sea and Doormouse Productions, respectively. She is the Co-Founder/Artistic Producer at Sheep’s Clothing Theatre, and wrote and produced the company’s site-specific adaption of Julius Caesar, entitled ‘Blood Brothers,’ at the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Brianna is the 2022 recipient of the RBC Michelle Jackson Emerging Filmmaker Award, a participant in the 2024 WFF Screenwriters Lab, and was a resident of the 2025 CFC’s Norman Jewison Writers’ Lab.
